As a global startup, our mission is to enhance mobility and improve the quality of life (QOL) for individuals with lower-limb amputations-delivering transformative solutions that enable users to lead more active, independent, and fulfilling lives.
Founded in 2018 as a spinoff from the University of Tokyo, BionicM was born out of the groundbreaking research of Dr. Sunny Xiaojun Sun and his team.

FOUNDER'S MESSAGE
At 9, illness forced me to make a heart-wrenching choice to amputate my right leg.
Since then, I've lived the daily challenges of prosthetics users after walking with two crutch for 15 years.

That experience drives me to build technology that restores confidence, independence, and freedom.
We design every solution with one goal in mind: to help you move naturally, safely. and confidently-so you can focus on living your life.
